We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Be a senior full stack automation test engineer with experience in Software Automation testing using Tosca, Selenium, and other tools, with knowledge of ETL tools like DataStage, DataFlow, SQL, Shell scripting, Control-M, API Development, Design Patterns, SDLC, IaC tools, testing, and site reliability engineering.
• Have a deep understanding of Desktop, Web, Data warehouse application automation testing, API testing, and related frameworks.
• Proven experience in writing automation test scripts, conducting reviews, building test packs for regression, smoke, and integration testing scenarios. Ability to increase test coverage, report metrics-based test status, and manage defect lifecycle.
• Define and implement best practices for software automation testing, including frameworks, patterns, standards, reviews, coverage, and requirement traceability.
• Possess broad and deep experience in CI/CD best practices and core testing areas such as TDD, BDD, Automated testing, Contract testing, API testing, and DW test automation.
• Identify problems or opportunities and engineer solutions, focusing on business impact and maintaining a holistic view to problem-solving.
• Contribute to architectural discussions by asking relevant questions to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and other key project meetings, acting as a point of accountability and escalation for Automation testing within the teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including software product, development, and support teams, to accelerate testing delivery and improve application quality at HSBC.
• Be willing to adapt, learn new technologies/tools, and work flexibly on projects as demanded by the business.
