Job Summary:

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within housing schemes, infrastructure, and high-rise buildings. The role ensures the efficient functioning of electrical systems, supervises electrical technicians, resolves electrical faults, and ensures compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, electrical panels, and emergency systems in housing schemes and high-rise buildings.
• Oversee the commissioning and testing of newly installed electrical systems to ensure they are fully operational.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve electrical faults promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to building operations.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local building codes, electrical safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to avoid system failures and downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, maintenance schedules, system performance, and parts inventory.
• Manage and supervise a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance and overseeing their work to ensure high standards.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for procurement and specialized electrical services.
• Assist in preparing budgets for electrical projects, maintenance, and spare parts procurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards and accidents in the workplace.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and repairs as required, ensuring swift resolution to prevent service interruptions.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in housing schemes, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
• Expertise in electrical systems, power distribution, lighting systems, and emergency electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
