Senior Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Senior Project Manager with at least 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software & game development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and the highest quality of deliverables. Your leadership will guide game designers, artists, developers, stakeholders, and testers towards achieving exceptional outcomes in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project planning process by defining project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
• Manage project execution to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks, addressing potential impediments to project delivery.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards through regular reviews and testing.
• Effectively manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, managing their expectations and integrating their feedback.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports are up to date.
• Implement best practices for process improvement to enhance project delivery and team performance.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a project manager in the game development industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in delivering at least one game project from pre-production to release.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain technology.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to schedule and conduct daily standup meetings and manage task allocations for cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adept at interacting with various stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the game development process, including game design, art production, programming, and QA/testing.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A strong passion for gaming and commitment to delivering high-quality gaming experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Familiarity with game development engines and tools like Unity or Unreal Engine.
