We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced React Engineer to join our team. As a React Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing modern web applications using React. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces that provide exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable React applications.
  2. Build reusable and efficient components and front-end libraries for future use.
  3. Implement responsive and adaptive UI designs to support a variety of devices and screen sizes.
  4. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
  5. Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the reliability of your code.
  6. Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and share knowledge across the team.
  7. Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
  8. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide feedback.
  9. Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development using React.js.

Technical Skills:

  1. Extensive experience with state management libraries such as Redux, React Context API, Recoil, and Zustand.
  2. Hands-on experience with React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useReducer, etc.) and Functional Components.
  3. Deep understanding of JSX, Virtual DOM, and the React Component Lifecycle.
  4. Expertise in CSS and CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) along with CSS-in-JS solutions like Styled-components or Emotion.
  5. Familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material UI, or Ant Design.
  6. Strong experience with Webpack, Vite, Parcel, and Babel for optimizing and bundling front-end assets.
  7. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket for real-time data updates.
  8. Proficiency in Unit Testing with frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and Chai, and integration testing with React Testing Library and Cypress.
  9. Experience with version control systems like Git, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  10. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Travis CI for automating testing and deployment workflows.
  11. Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and using project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
  12. Knowledge of Performance Optimization techniques for React apps (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, React Profiler).
  13. Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) using Next.js.
  14. Familiarity with TypeScript for type-safe development in React applications.
  15. Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA), Service Workers, and local storage.
  16. Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase, or Vercel for deployment and hosting.
  17. Familiarity with API security practices, including OAuth, JWT authentication, and securing RESTful APIs.
  18. Understanding of Containerization with Docker for creating reproducible environments.
