Fabric Sourcer

We are looking to hire a fabric sourcer or textile procurement specialist who can contact manufacturers, survey the factories and material, and negotiate on behalf of the office.

Responsibilities

1. Discern, recognize, and procure different types of textiles, fabrics and other raw material required in order to produce apparel.

2. Source the manufacturers and dealers of different types of apparel material.

3. Make and keep contact with potential partners and clients via text, email and call, and negotiate with them.

4. Travel around the country to survey the factories and conduct business.

Qualifications

1. Should be able to discern, recognize, and procure different types of textiles, fabrics and other raw material required in order to produce apparel.

2. Should be able to source the manufacturers and dealers of different types of apparel material.

3. Should be able travel around the country to survey the factories and conduct business.

4. Should be able to deal with potential partners and clients via text, email and call.

5. Should have excellent negotiation skills.

6. Should have a flexible schedule.
