This is with reference to the advertisements for (Contract Based) vacant teaching and non-teaching positions for Chiniot Campus and Institute of Art and Sciences Hafizabad Sub-Campus Government College University Faisalabad in the leading national newspapers of Pakistan dated 29-10-2019, 02-11-2019 and 06-11-2019. The following shall be considered as part and parcel of the said advertisements:

  • The last date for submission of applications is 02-12-2019.
  • The applicants who have already submitted their applications are not required to apply again.
  • Rest of the terms and conditions shall remain the same.

Positions, on contract basis (initially for a period of three years), are available under HEC funded project, till the duration of the project for Institute of Art and Sciences Hafizabad Sub-Campus and Chiniot Campus of Government College University, Faisalabad. Applications are invited from dynamic professionals / eligible candidates for the following positions:

1. Campus Director (BPS-21)
  • Ph.D. in Social Sciences / Management Sciences / Engineering or equivalent from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
  • The candidate should have 10-12 years experience in Planning and Development, Teaching and Research, Academics and Administrative activities in a General University/Campus or similar experience in National or International Public and Private Sector Organizations.

2. Project Director (BPS-18)

BSc (Civil Engineering) from a HEC recognized University with 12 years experience in the relevant field.

3. Budget & Accounts Officer (BPS-17)

At least graduate, 10 years experience in Audit and Accounts.

4. Computer Operator (BPS-12)
  • BA/ Higher Secondary School examination with computer science (2nd division) from a recognized board.
  • One year Diploma in Computer Science from Board of Technical Education or any recognized institution.

5. Junior Clerk (BPS-11)
  • Higher Secondary School examination (2nd division)
  • Typing speed in English of 35 w.p.m and knowledge of word processing.

6. Driver (LTV) (BPS-05)
  • Literate
  • A Valid L.T.V License
No of Positions: 02

7. Dispatcher (BPS-05)
  • Secondary School Exam
  • A valid Motorcycle driving license

8. Naib Qaisd (BPS-01)

Literate
No of Positions: 02

9. Mali/ Baildar (BPS-01)

Literate. Preference will be given to those who have experience relevant to the work.

Instructions
  • The latest prescribed application & bio-data form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk) and should be submitted in the Recruitment Cell, with a demand draft in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad (as processing fee non-refundable).
  • Incomplete or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
  • The candidates are required to submit three (03) sets of duly filled in Application Form supported with attested copies of degrees, result cards, ID card, three recent photographs, updated CV, transcripts, certificates along with research publications.
  • The candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate Job Application Form with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
  • The University reserves the right not to consider any application or not to fill any post without assigning any reason.
  • The candidate already in service must apply through proper channel by the due date.
  • The Candidates must attach HEC Equivalence Certificate(s), where applicable, otherwise their applications would not be entertained/considered.
  • The evaluation of the Scrutiny Committee shall be final and only on merit candidates will be called for interview/informed.
  • The recommended candidates will have no right to claim, whatsoever, to convert their contractual service into the regular/permanent one.
  • Applications complete in all respects must reach, during office hours, in the Recruitment Cell, Registrar Office Government College University, Faisalabad within 15 days from the publication of this advertisement.
Note
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and shortlisting of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University.
  • The Institution reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions.
  • Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the University.
  • The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency/Post Office/Telephonic message.
