Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Educational Counselor based in Peshawar. The Educational Counselor will be responsible for guiding students and professionals on study abroad opportunities, providing career counseling, and offering support throughout the application process. Daily tasks include meeting with students, assessing their educational and career goals, providing information on suitable study programs, and ensuring they meet the requirements for their chosen courses. Additionally, the Educational Counselor will liaise with various universities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission procedures and scholarship opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their academic and career goals.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with international universities, programs, and admission requirements.
  • Assist clients in selecting suitable educational institutions and programs.
  • Guide clients through the application process, including document preparation and visa applications.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to clients, ensuring a smooth transition to their chosen international education destination.
  • Stay informed about scholarship opportunities, financial aid options, and funding resources to help clients secure financial assistance for their studies.
  • Offer insights into cultural and lifestyle aspects of studying abroad, helping clients prepare for the challenges and experiences they may encounter.
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and relevant organizations abroad to facilitate smoother admissions processes.
  • Organize and conduct informational seminars, workshops, or webinars to educate clients and the public about studying abroad.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, applications, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling
  • Experience in Career Counseling
  • Knowledge and understanding of various Education systems and study programs
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience in the education consultancy industry is a plus
