Applications Are Invited For The Following Temporary (likely To Become Permanent) Teaching Positions At Government College University, Faisalabad, From Pakistani Nationals, With Given Pay Scale Plus Usual Allowances As Permissible Under The Rules Of The University. The Candidates Must Meet The Qualifications / Experience As Detailed Below:

Assistant Professor (BPS-19) (07 Posts)

Age Limit: 30-45 Year

i. Pharmacology (02 Posts)
ii. Pharmaceutics (03 Posts)
iii. Pharmacognocy (01 Post)
iv. Pharmaceutical Chemistry (01 Post)

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

• Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University /Institution or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in relevant field as determined by HEC. No experience is required.
• M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in relevant field from an HEC recognized University/ Institution. 4-years teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• B-Pharm or Pharm-D (First Class) with no 3rd Division in the Academic Career from an HEC recognized University/Institution. No experience is required.

Lecturer (BPS-18) (06 Posts)

Age Limit: 21-35 years

i. Pharmacology (02 Posts)
ii. Pharmaceutics (02 Posts)

Qualification:
B-Pharm or Pharm-D (First Class) with no 3rd Division in the Academic Career from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

First Class Master's Degree under Annual System and CGPA 3.00/4.00 under Semester System OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution.
Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer to the candidate holding a higher degree viz. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
Furthermore, the candidate with 2nd Division in the Master's Degree but holding higher degree i.e. M. Phil/ PhD or equivalent degree with 18 years of education could be considered.

Assistant Professor (BPS-19) (03 Posts)

Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution.

Master's degree (foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
4-years teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

• The candidates must have first degree in Pharmacy from the institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan for serial no. 1 (A&B).
• The candidates should hold the valid registration by Pharmacy Council for serial no. 1 (A&B).
• The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk/) and shall be submitted with demand draft of Rs. 700/- in favour of Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. However, the applicants desiring to have form through post may obtain the same on written request along with self addressed envelop of large size with Rs. 30/- postage stamps. The dully filled in application forms must be supported with attested copies of educational testimonials / certificates, I.D. Card, two recent photographs and updated Curriculum Vitae.
• The candidates from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper, accompanied by recent Curriculum Vitae along with attested copies of degrees / testimonials and experience certificates.
• Incomplete or the applications received after due date will not be entertained.
• The University reserves the rights not to consider any application or fill the post without giving any reason.
• The applications are required on prescribed form in quadruplicate for the posts of Associate Professor & triplicate for Assistant Professor.
• The candidates already in Service must apply through proper channel by the due date.
• Complete applications must reach the Additional Registrar (Recruitment), Government College University, Faisalabad by mail not later than 10-09-2013.

• NTS Test will be conduct for the post of Lecturers.
