Web Developer Plus Content Writer / Graphic Designer

Our innovative and growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Web Developer Plus Content Writer / Graphic Designer. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities
  • Creating website designs
  • Producing sample sites
  • Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments
  • Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, & MySQL
  • Digital retouching and image editing
  • WordPress Theme Installation and Customization
  • Working with different plug-ins and themes
  • Mobile Application Development
  • Overseeing the implementation and integration of APIs for travel technology platform
  • Designing domain-centric APIs
  • Creating and designing various materials for print and digital collateral
  • Prioritizing and managing multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Analyzing, designing, and coordinating the development of major components of the audience management system and downstream APIs including hands-on implementation, testing, review, build automation, and documentation
Job Specification
  • Extensive experience with Web Services, SOAP, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, REST, Web API, JPA
  • Very strong skills in Java development
  • Strong knowledge about HTTP, REST, and JSON are crucial
  • Experienced in developing REST APIs
  • Iterative software development lifecycle and best practices
  • Extensive expertise in the travel industry for a customer-facing role
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of online reservation Tools (Flights, Hotels, Holidays)
  • Excellent communication skills with an advanced level of English (speaking & writing)
  • Passion for new and emerging technologies. Ability to investigate these in depth
