Our clients span across industries, with a particular strength in supporting enterprises running SAP as their core ERP system.
We are looking for remote sales consultants that have strong experience in prospecting and lead generation in the Microsoft/Databricks Data & AI space and SAP. You must be a Hunter-type Cloud Data/SAP Sales Specialist to support our UK and MEA markets.
Role Overview
As a Cloud Data Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving new business development and expanding Kagool's customer base in the mid-tier and enterprise market segments. Your focus will be on engaging organizations running SAP ERP and guiding them on their data and AI modernization journey using Azure Data Platforms and Databricks.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong prospecting skills, who thrives on building new client relationships and closing deals. You will have the freedom to approach the market with creativity, leveraging cold outreach, social selling, networking, and other channels to open doors and create opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with mid-tier and enterprise clients in the Chicago and wider US market.
- Focus sales efforts on organizations running SAP ERP, positioning Kagool's expertise in Azure Data Platforms and Databricks.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting (cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, etc.).
- Partner with Kagool's technical and delivery teams to shape tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to deal closure.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Represent Kagool at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to expand brand visibility.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of hunter-type sales success in the technology or consulting space.
- Experience selling cloud, data, or AI solutions (Azure, Databricks, or equivalent platforms highly desirable).
- Knowledge of SAP ERP landscapes and how enterprises leverage SAP data for modernization.
- Comfortable with cold outreach across multiple channels to create new opportunities.
- Strong ability to articulate value propositions and engage C-level and senior decision-makers.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Based in or near Chicago, with willingness to travel to client sites when needed.
