We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Data Engineer with 5–6 months of relevant experience who is eager to grow and learn in a dynamic environment. The role involves building and maintaining ETL data pipelines, working with cloud-based data storage, and supporting the engineering team in developing reliable, high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain lightweight ETL data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Windows PowerShell; assist in scheduling, monitoring, and failure recovery.
  • Develop data transforms and ingestion scripts for cloud storage/warehousing (e.g., Azure Data Lake, SQL Database); document workflows and data lineage.
  • Implement data quality checks (validations, deduplication, schema checks) and support performance tuning of queries/pipelines.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to productionize notebooks/scripts, parameterize configurations, and follow Git-based CI/CD practices.
  • Assist in day-to-day data operations and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functioning of data flows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5–6 months of experience in Data Engineering / ETL development.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and familiarity with Windows PowerShell.
  • Understanding of cloud data platforms (preferably Azure Data Lake & SQL Database).
  • Basic knowledge of data quality techniques (validation, deduplication, schema checks).
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and grow.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
