About the Role:

You will be responsible for implementing quality code that meets both functional and non-functional requirements, passing through various stage gates to ensure quality metrics and code coverage in CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement new systems and features, modify and maintain existing systems, and adapt to technological changes. Drive software change and release management processes, and contribute to the maturity of the software development lifecycle. Ensure software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

Requirements:

Education & Qualification: B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Must-have skills:

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on backend development experience, preferably with JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS, ExpressJS, or NestJS.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
  • Strong database knowledge, including SQL and query optimization.
  • Experience with ORM frameworks.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience with source control (GIT) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jest.
  • Ability to write scalable and optimized code.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience with other JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.
  • Interest in front-end UX development.
  • Understanding of good architectural design principles.
  • Exposure to tooling, automation, and Agile/Scrum environments.

Soft skills:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player with experience working in international, virtual, and remote teams.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Quality-conscious, problem-solving skills.
