
National Sales Manager

Requirements:
Sales experience is a must: 12 to 15 years in a senior sales or general management position.
A degree in Business (or related discipline).
Experience with account management.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge and proficiency with CRM systems; experience using a Cloud ERP preferred.
Experience in strategic sales planning and revenue forecasting.
Responsibilities:
Manage sales force; measure, incentivize, and create sales programs for all regional managers.
Build and develop new sales territories.
Acquire new business leads by analyzing account potential; initiate, develop, and close sales.
Implement sales strategies and programs by developing field sales action plans.
Develop long-term relationships with clients while supervising and mentoring sales staff.
Initiate the sales process by building relationships; qualify potential leads; schedule appointments.
Develop sales by keeping up-to-date with all the latest product, industry trends, and manufacturer announcements.
Take a lead role in product knowledge; arrange product knowledge presentations; explain product and service enhancements; introduce new products to staff.
Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and mentoring employees.
Maintain sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by assisting the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Provide historical records by maintaining records/stats on area and customer sales.
Work closely with President to understand sales and company vision and translate that vision into a strategic plan.
