Role Overview
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as link building and keyword strategy to increase website search engine results rankings ultimately leading to higher traffic. The responsibilities include performing ongoing keyword research not limited to keyword expansion opportunities, implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success, analysing competitors' strategies, using best SEO practices on new implemented developments and recommending modifications to website architecture, linking and creating content to improve SEO positions of targeted keywords.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create and execute effective SEO tactics
  2. Research and track keywords to gain a competitive advantage and build traffic
  3. Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in SEO rankings
  4. Monitor daily performance metrics to build an informed SEO strategy
  5. Collaborate with others within the department to manage SEO strategy
  6. Identify and implement metadata improvements
  7. Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery and expansion and optimisation for new relevant keywords
  8. Research and analyse competitor sites
  9. Implement structured data markup to help search engines parse and understand the website's information
  10. Create and execute link-building strategy
  11. Work with developers to ensure best SEO practices are properly followed
  12. Make SEO-based revisions on the company web pages
  13. Work with the team to drive content creation and marketing
  14. Develop optimisation strategies to increase search engine results rankings
  15. Measure and report the performance of all SEO campaigns against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  16. Identify trends and insights and optimise work streams based on those insights
  17. Leverage SEO using marketing automation tools
  18. Collaborate with the team to create landing pages and optimise the user experience
  19. Analyse technical SEO issues and suggest enhancements

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent degree in the relevant field
  2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist
  3. Hands-on experience in successfully developing and implementing SEO campaigns
  4. Competent user of Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Hubspot, etc.
  5. Understanding of on-page and off-page optimisation and link building
  6. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics)
  7. Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  8. Strong analytical skills and data-driven reporting skills
