Job Description:

As an experienced senior software engineer, you take great pride in engineering cutting-edge software solutions. Having a clear understanding of differences between a programmer and a software engineer you never settle for it works or good enough, but thrive to develop solutions based on good architectural designs and approaches that are worthy to feel good about. You recognize mistakes and are keen to learn from them.

What you will bring

  • 3 to 6 years of experience with designing and engineering enterprise, web and mobile Applications.
  • Advanced Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js & Node.js.
  • Strong hands-on experience with back-end development using Node.js and familiarity with NestJS framework.
  • Strong hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS and Next.js.
  • Experience with Rust is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Ability to write efficient database queries using TypeORM with NestJS.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT).
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
  • Ability to translate user requirements into overall architecture and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good algorithmic thinking utilizing Object Oriented programming languages to solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Experience on SQL and No-SQL databases.
  • Understanding and exposure to Reactive programming and web sockets.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the smooth functionality of the applications.
  • Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ.
  • BSc/MSc in Engineering Field.

Good to have:

  • Experience with React Native for mobile application development.
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of GraphQL for API development.

Job Details:
Work Timings: 9am to 5pm
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Location: Islamabad
Experience: 3+ years
