Junior or Mid level Next JS developer Needed

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Next.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web development and be passionate about building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. You will work closely with our design, backend, and product teams to develop innovative solutions using Next.js and related technologies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js and React. Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) as needed.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing web interfaces. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
  3. Optimize Performance: Ensure applications are optimized for maximum speed and scalability. Address performance bottlenecks and debug issues as they arise.
  4. Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct code reviews and participate in team discussions to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  5. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in web development and the Next.js ecosystem. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the development process.
Qualifications:
  1. Technical Skills: Proficient in Next.js and React.js. Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or similar. Familiarity with CSS-in-JS solutions (e.g., styled-components, emotion). Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Experience with version control systems like Git.
  2. Backend and Tools: Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express is a plus. Familiarity with modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Vite). Understanding of deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and hosting platforms like Vercel.
  3. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Experience:
  • 1+ years of professional experience in web development with a focus on Next.js.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and edge computing.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Prior experience with SEO optimization and accessibility standards.
