Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement ASO strategies to improve the rankings and visibility of mobile games in the App Store, Google Play Store, and other relevant platforms.
  2. Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis focused on mobile games, identifying growth opportunities through tailored metadata optimization.
  3. Optimize game titles, descriptions, screenshots, videos, and other creative assets to effectively engage players and reflect the game's unique aspects.
  4. Monitor and analyze key mobile game metrics such as DAU, MAU, Retention Rates, and ARPU, adjusting strategies to optimize these metrics.
  5. Collaborate with design, development, and marketing teams to create visually compelling and on-brand assets for mobile game store pages.
  6. Stay current with the latest industry trends, app store algorithms, and ASO best practices within the gaming world, applying this knowledge to maintain a competitive edge.
  7. Lead A/B testing for various ASO elements like game descriptions, icons, and screenshots to maximize installs and engagement.
  8. Manage and respond to user reviews, ensuring a positive brand image, addressing concerns, and acting on user feedback.
  9. Prepare detailed, data-driven reports on ASO performance, providing insights and strategies for further optimization.
  10. Engage with gaming communities on social media and forums to gather feedback and foster positive relationships with players that influence ASO efforts.
  11. Develop and execute mobile game ad campaigns on Google Ads, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and ROI.
  12. Optimize Google Ads campaigns, including Universal App Campaigns, to maximize app installs, user engagement, and ROAS.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with ASO tools such as Sensor Tower, App Annie, Mobile Action, and other analytics tools like GameAnalytics, Adjust, or Apptentive.
  • Strong knowledge of game-specific metrics and KPIs such as DAU, MAU, ARPU, and Retention Rates.
  • Experience with localization and market-specific ASO strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging copy for gaming audiences and collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with cross-promotion strategies and retargeting in mobile games.
  • Experience with Google Ads for app campaigns to drive installs and user acquisition is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, creative, team-oriented environment.
