The Division

Bookassist is a multi-award winning and leading provider of online booking technology, distribution technology, web design, and digital strategy services to the hotel industry internationally. Bookassist creates, manages, and optimizes digital strategies for hotels and hotel groups. We drive our clients' online business and seek higher and higher conversions to improve direct booking on our clients' hotel websites.

Bookassist is expanding rapidly with additional offices in Madrid, Rome, Vienna, and Prague and a client base of over 2000 hotels. Bookassist is one of the companies under the umbrella of Jonas Software, which acquires, manages, and builds industry-specific software companies globally.

The Position

Bookassist is seeking a talented Metasearch Specialist to join the Digital Media Team.

Reporting to the Metasearch Manager, the successful candidate will be a member of the Metasearch Team and in charge of developing and executing Metasearch campaigns for an assignee portfolio of hotels following the processes, procedures and best practices implemented in the Metasearch Team.

Scope Of The Role / High-lights

• Campaign management for an assigned portfolio of hotels.
• Support to Digital Media Team for campaigns optimizations, adjustments, issues and troubleshooting.
• Be in charge of Meta Search Implementation for set up Meta Search campaigns
  
  

Required Experience

• 1- or 2-years working experience in Digital Marketing, Metasearch and Ecommerce, preferably in the Hotel Industry;
• Knowledge of Metasearch is preferential but not required
  
  

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Metasearch Manager, the Metasearch Specialist is responsible for:

• Create Meta Search campaigns for hotels across Google Hotel Ads, Tripadvisor, Trivago, Destination Ads and other Ad Platforms and in accordance to the requirements for implementation of new campaigns.
• Develop, execute and maintain Metasearch campaigns for an assignee portfolio of hotels clients by following the processes and procedures outlined by the Metasearch Manager and towards the established KPIs.
• Advise the Metasearch Manager about strategic issues or improvements for the hotels and groups in the assignee portfolio.
• Provide support and back-up to Metasearch members in the team for key-clients in their portfolio.
• Monitor and analyze client performance and give recommendations (or implement changes) to improve e-commerce KPIs.
• Be in touch with external partners for support queries related to Meta Search campaigns and for Implementation purposes
• Keep up to date with new trends in Digital Media and share knowledge with the team
  
  

Operations

• Create and manage Meta Search campaigns in accordance to the requirements and towards the established KPIs.
• Manage and measure operational performance in an efficient and timely manner and provide feedback to the Metasearch Manager for optimization and improvements
• Be in charge of Meta Search Implementation for set up Meta Search campaigns
  
  

Team

• Be a proactive team member by regularly interacting with the Metasearch Team
• Attend recurring internal meetings with the Digital Media Team and the other departments in the organization
  
  

Essential

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent English speaker, any additional languages are an advantage.
• 1-2 years' experience in a digital marketing or Metasearch position including managing PPC campaigns and using tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, other Ad Networks.
• Knowledge or working experience in Metasearch Advertising is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Implementation processes in an advantage.
• Knowledge of common CMS packages and HTML/CSS.
• Strong interest in tourism and hotel industry.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently across multiple client accounts.
• Ability to hold meetings with key clients and presentations at seminars and workshops.
• Experience of Mac OS X is an advantage, but not essential.
