Purpose

This role involves managing the economic transactions of the Division to safeguard IDEMIA's assets fairly, accurately, and on time, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. It provides the Management team with reliable information for decision-making.

Key Missions
  • Identify General Ledger transactions (cut-off accruals, provisions, payroll, tax, etc.) and post them in the Ledger.
  • Prepare and verify the correctness and validity of Balance Sheet accounts (reconciling Sub-Ledgers with the General Ledger, aging calculation, fair valuation and completeness of assets, liabilities, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly financial statements per entity, including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Trial Balance, and relevant analyses.
  • Load/report monthly financial statements in the Group Financial tools for access by financial teams.
  • Prepare yearly Financial Statements and associated filings, in compliance with local GAAP.
  • Respond to ad-hoc financial requests/queries from stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit reviews and support the internal control annual self-assessment.
  • May provide tax schedules to support VAT and Corporate Income Tax returns.
  • Ensure correctness and validity of the Inventory Ledger.
  • Ensure correctness and validity of the Fixed Asset Ledger, managing purchase orders, booking entries, monitoring activation, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
  • May include cost accounting activities.
  • Post journal entries and identify errors or missing information.
  • Handle full GL accounting missions for small, simple, or dormant entities or contribute to accounting sub-processes.
  • Answer simple queries related to scope.
  • Perform activities under guidance.
