Job Title: Senior Audit Associate

Job Overview: The Senior Audit Associate will be instrumental in managing and executing audit engagements, particularly with a focus on our UK clients. This role requires direct interaction with clients, ensuring high-quality audit services, maintaining client relationships, and reporting progress to Audit Managers in both the UK and Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction and Relationship Management:

Act as the primary contact for UK clients during the audit process. Conduct client meetings, gather necessary information, and address queries or concerns. Maintain effective communication and build strong client relationships.

Audit Execution and Management: Lead audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting. Perform audit procedures in line with professional standards and company policies. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to the Audit Manager.

Team Leadership and Collaboration: Supervise junior staff, allocating work and reviewing their performance. Collaborate with Audit Managers and team members to ensure efficient audit execution. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed audit workpapers and documentation. Produce clear and concise audit reports for Audit Manager review. Regularly update Audit Managers on the status of audit engagements.

Quality Assurance and Professional Development: Ensure accuracy and compliance in audit work through thorough review processes. Implement quality control measures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Stay updated with global financial reporting and auditing standards.

Profound knowledge of worldwide financial reporting standards and auditing standards. Ability to manage complete audits and possess excellent English communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Capability to mentor junior colleagues and manage regular tasks independently.
