Job Summary:The DevOps Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and versioning to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery. The role also focuses on system reliability, monitoring, and incident response management.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
    • Manage Git versioning and release processes to ensure consistency and traceability.
      • Set up, maintain, and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Azure Insights) to ensure high performance and reliability in line with site reliability SLAs
        • Handle incident response processes and maintain logging and alerting solutions.
        • Write and maintain scripts and automation (e.g. Bash, PowerShell and Python)
        • Deploy manage and scale containerized applications. (e.g Docker and ContainerD, Podman)
        • Indepth knowledge of container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Dockers swarm, OpenShift.
        • Maintain and support high availability systems, ensuring backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
        • Provision configures and maintains resources on AWS, Azure or GCP.
        • Work closely with developers, QA, and operations to refine deployment workflows, promote DevOps culture, and document infrastructure and processes.
        • Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
        • Configure and manage API Gateways (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, Kong, or Apigee).
        • Create infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

Requirements:

  • Experience with API Gateway configuration and routing, custom domains, throttling, caching, and versioning.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deploying serverless apps.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM roles, least privilege, encryption).
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and optionally GraphQL.
  • Security & Hardening: Implement OS-level firewalls, secure SSH configurations, utilize tools and ensure regular system patching.
  • Strong knowledge on Linux and Windows Servers.

  • Certifications in CKA, AWS, Azure, or GCP will be considered a plus.

Experience Required:

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud operations.

Education/Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
