
Sales Trainer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to join our team and lead the training efforts for our Final Expense insurance campaign. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales representatives, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed in selling Final Expense products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales training, knowledge of the insurance industry (particularly Final Expense), and the ability to inspire and engage sales teams.
- Develop Training Programs: Design, develop, and update comprehensive training materials tailored to the Final Expense campaign. This includes presentations, manuals, scripts, role-playing exercises, and online learning modules.
- Conduct Training Sessions: Lead both in-person and virtual training sessions for new and existing sales representatives. Ensure all training content is engaging, informative, and actionable to drive sales performance.
- Sales Techniques & Product Knowledge: Train sales representatives on effective sales techniques, objection handling, closing strategies, and the nuances of selling Final Expense insurance products. Ensure deep understanding of product features, benefits, and compliance.
- Onboarding: Lead onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in their roles from day one.
- Monitor Performance & Provide Feedback: Assess the performance of sales representatives through observation and assessments. Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and individual training to address any areas of improvement.
- Track & Report Training Progress: Maintain records of all training sessions and progress. Track individual sales performance metrics and make adjustments to the training program as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to Final Expense insurance. Incorporate this knowledge into training sessions to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership: Work closely with the Sales Manager and leadership team to identify training needs and gaps in sales performance. Provide recommendations for improvements and adjust training materials accordingly.
- Motivational Leadership: Inspire and motivate the sales team, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth, engagement, and achievement of sales targets.
Experience:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach, or similar role in the insurance industry, with a focus on Final Expense or other life insurance products.
- Strong background in direct sales, with hands-on experience in Final Expense sales or related sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
- Ability to create engaging training materials and deliver them in various formats (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning).
- Knowledge of Final Expense insurance products and industry regulations.
