About the Role

At Sofstica, we are looking for passionate and detail-oriented Junior SQA Engineers to join our team in Karachi. This is a full-time, onsite role where you will play an essential part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Prior experience in QA is a must, and we're seeking individuals who are eager to grow their skills and contribute to building products that make an impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute test cases, including functional, regression, and performance tests, both manually and using automation tools.
  • Create and maintain test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects with clear and detailed reports for development teams.
  • Set up and configure test environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
  • Maintain organized documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes.
  • Assist in performance testing to assess software scalability and responsiveness.
  • Participate in security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data protection.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
  • Stay updated on QA methodologies, testing tools, and industry best practices, while continuously developing your skills.
Qualifications:
  • 6–8 months of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Strong academic foundation in software engineering principles.
  • Sharp, intelligent, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
