Iqra National University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Counselor for a full-time, on-site role at its GEIL Office in Peshawar. The Educational Counselor will play a vital role in guiding students toward academic success through educational consulting, student and career counseling, and effective communication. This position requires a proactive individual passionate about student development and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic and career counseling to prospective and current students.
  • Assist students in educational planning and decision-making.
  • Support students in overcoming academic and personal challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational programs and career pathways.
  • Assist students in preparing and submitting applications to partner international institutions and guiding them through the visa application process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising or counseling.
  • Strong skills in educational and student counseling.
  • Proven career counseling knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced academic environment.
