Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team in Pakistan, working remotely during the evening shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure software applications meet high-quality standards.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Perform thorough manual and automated testing of software applications to identify defects and improve product quality.
  • Bug Tracking and Documentation: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve defects and enhance product quality.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and work closely with developers to improve software quality.
  • Test Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain and update test documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Required Skills
  • Software QA Methodologies: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools, including Agile development processes.
  • Test Automation Frameworks: Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
  • Bug Tracking and Test Management Tools: Experience with bug tracking and test management tools to streamline defect identification and resolution.
  • Programming Skills: Basic programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB, preferred but not required.
  • Mobile App Testing: Experience with mobile app testing to ensure seamless user experience.
  • CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enhance software delivery efficiency.
