Company Description

EcoEnergy, the largest off-grid solar provider in Pakistan, is looking for a qualified, energetic, and motivated Technician/Electrician to conduct solar installations.

Job Description

This role involves technical, procurement, and product handling responsibilities related to solar system installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  1. Technical:
  • Assemble solar panels and support structures.
  • Install photovoltaic (PV) systems following standards and using provided drawings and schematics.
  • Install electrical components, equipment, or systems.
  • Determine suitable locations and orientations for panel installations.
  • Perform wiring for the solar system, including panels, inverter, and batteries.
  • Understand cable sizing for DC/AC systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on PV systems components.
  • Maintain records of system operation, performance, and maintenance.
  • Supervise large installations.
  1. Procurement:
  • Arrange necessary tools.
  • Determine appropriate sizes and ratings for system overcurrent devices, disconnects, grounding, and surge protection.
  1. Product Handling:
  • Program, adjust, or configure inverters and controls.
  • Identify and resolve deficiencies in installation, wiring, or materials.
  • Test operating voltages to ensure proper functioning.
  • Read and understand user and technical manuals.
Qualifications

Technical courses or diplomas related to Electrical/Solar Installations, or intermediate/matric with relevant experience.

Additional Information

Location:

  • Based in Karachi.
  • Frequent visits to EcoEnergy customers in Karachi.
  • Optional visits to Hyderabad or rural areas if required.

Package:

  • Salary between 30-40K depending on qualification and experience.
  • 3-month probation period.
  • Fuel reimbursement based on actual expenses.
