The Solution Architect will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Solution Center department.

  • Highly organized: excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Resourcefulness: capable of independently figuring out solutions and executing them reliably.
  • Creative: promoting and following creativity in architecting optimal technical and commercial solutions.

Key deliverables include, but are not limited to:

  • Review RFQ to ensure design solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of PLC/DCS control systems (Rockwell, Siemens, Honeywell, ABB, Schneider) and SCADA systems.
  • Experience in field instrumentation selection and designing cost-optimized solutions.
  • Site work experience and estimation for control system installation is advantageous.
  • Proposal development and effort estimation for engineering, construction, and testing.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in technical and commercial proposals.
  • Support sales in proposal compliance and coordination with vendors.
  • Develop standard procedures, project plans, and design documentation with strong writing skills.
  • Business development skills, including negotiation with vendors.
  • Design control system architectures with knowledge of network protocols.
  • Ensure proposals are technically and commercially compliant, report exceptions.
  • Innovate solutions, optimize designs, and ensure product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with CSIA standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years in engineering or technical sales.
  • Business development and sales acumen.
  • Ability to handle pressure, positive attitude, sense of responsibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
