The Division

C-SAM is an industry leader and innovator in specialist asset management solutions for the international oil and gas and marine industries.

The Position

We are seeking a Software Developer to enhance and maintain our legacy as well as modern applications. The selected candidate shall work out of Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource-center, as an extension/part of division's R&D department.

Required Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or a certificate from a technical training institute.
2. Strong 4+ years of software development experience including web development.
3. Strong previous experience with C#, ASP.Net, Web-forms, Asp.net core, MVC, TypeScript, JavaScript, Blazor and Abp.io/asp boilerplate framework.
4. Prior experience of building applications using VB and WinForms is a big plus.
5. Workable understanding of Azure especially related to deployments.
6. Must be very good at version control systems like git and have a good knowledge of branching.
7. Good in understanding C# and webforms code.
8. Developer-level knowledge of version control system and code hosting platforms such as Bitbucket and GitHub.
9. Strong previous experience of JavaScript/CSS related libraries such as jQuery, Bootstrap.
10. Strong previous experience with database programming including writing queries, stored procedures and performing optimization using SQL Server.
11. Demonstrate experience of working on legacy products where products already existed, and the candidate learned on it.
12. Strong previous experience of developing enterprise level applications.
13. Attention to detail to ensure code is clean, efficient, error-free and documented.
14. Ability to manage own time and capable of working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
15. Ability to participate in team discussions and capable of taking initiatives instead of relying on traditional business requirement/specification documents and instructions for every detail.
