General Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting video kernel drivers and solutions for Windows on Snapdragon platforms. The candidate will analyze user needs, design software features, participate in coding, testing, debugging, and collaborate with team members to meet project objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related field with 3-5 years of experience in C & C++ programming.
  • Experience with Git, Perforce, or equivalent Source Code Management Systems.

Or

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related field with 2-4 years of experience in C & C++ programming.
  • Experience with Git, Perforce, or equivalent Source Code Management Systems.
Skills/Experience:
  • Proficiency in C, C++ fundamentals, Object-oriented Programming, Multithreaded Programming, and OS fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in video domain or multimedia systems (preferred).
  • Exposure to Linux/Windows Kernel/User Mode driver development (preferred).
  • Experience with Windows Debugging Tools & Development Environments, Direct3D APIs (preferred).
  • Knowledge of video standards such as H.264, H.265 (preferred).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, development, and validation of video kernel drivers for Windows on Snapdragon.
  • Analyze requirements, design software features, and participate in coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Perform code reviews, regression testing, and issue triaging.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Document software designs and processes.
Additional Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or equivalent.
  • PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
