Admission Officer

About the role

The Admissions Officer will facilitate Admissions functions of Navitas. The Admissions Officer will work with colleges to carry out the role of processing applications via a defined series of processes and systems, establishing strong links with Colleges and Universities based colleagues and Source Country Office staff in South Asia Region (or throughout the world if need be).

Key Responsibilities

  • Student applications are responded to in line with defined service level agreements
  • Applications are assessed accurately and in accordance with the latest admissions requirements
  • Agents, students and regional teams are always updated with any new developments
  • Student interviews are carried out, recorded and communicated accurately
  • Sustainable and productive working relationships are developed with regional teams, Navitas colleges and agent partners
  • Individual and team targets are achieved

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of front-line customer relationship management
  • Administration or data processing experience, along with file management skills
  • Proven ability as a team player', and a 'can-do' mindset with proactive style of working
  • Proven ability to organise own workload and effectively multitask
  • Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups
  • Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office s
  • Strong attention to detail – particularly with regards to understanding policy and procedure
  • A conviction to providing the very best customer service
