We are currently seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Development of Android applications from concept to deployment.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality solutions.
  3. Focus on optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability, ensuring a superior user experience and robust system architecture.
  4. Ensure code quality and performance through unit testing, debugging, and optimization.
  5. Mentor junior developers by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  6. Actively participate in and contribute to comprehensive code reviews to maintain best practices and standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
  3. Proficiency in Kotlin (expert level, with demonstrated experience in developing complex applications).
  4. Strong understanding of Android SDK and lifecycle components.
  5. Hands-on experience with MVVM architecture and other design patterns.
  6. Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  7. Proficiency in handling background services, threading, and concurrency.
  8. Familiarity with Jetpack libraries like Room, Navigation, and LiveData.
  9. Expertise in UI/UX implementation, responsive design, and animations.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience with Android Jetpack Compose is a plus.
  2. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
  3. Prior experience working with speech-to-text models or other AI-based features is an advantage.
