Senior Artificial Intelligence Lead

Aslaschat, a division of Aslase, is seeking a visionary and experienced Senior AI/ML Lead to spearhead its mission of delivering intelligent, scalable, and impactful AI-driven systems. As the Senior AI/ML Lead, you will be responsible for architecting and overseeing the development of large-scale AI models, with a core focus on LLM APIs, custom embedding models, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures. The role also requires a deep understanding of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and the use of AI orchestration frameworks to manage complex workflows. You will mentor team members, drive research, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of advanced AI/ML systems and solutions
Develop and optimize custom embedding models and LLM-based architectures
Apply AI orchestration frameworks for streamlined deployment and scalability
Utilize prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques to enhance model performance
Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to align AI initiatives with business goals
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in AI/ML development
At least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity
Expertise in LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Anthropic) and custom embeddings
Proficiency in AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Airflow)
Strong command over prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and RAG systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
