Job Description

Qualification & Experience:

Essential:
  • Having FA/FSc with relevant 05 years of experience.
Desirable:
  • Having BA/BSc with relevant 10 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solve routine daily issues of resident Faculty and Officers.
  • Act as a contact between Mess management and female resident faculty and officers.
  • Look after overall Mess, Guest Rooms and residential accommodation.
  • Maintain guest rooms and inventory.
  • Lodge complaints and coordinate with concerned Dtes / Contractors for utility provisions.
  • Keep and maintain record of guest room and residential room occupants.
  • Monitor all mess matters.
  • Assist Mess Supervisor.
  • Maintain and update all registers.
  • Keep record of physical locks and keys issued to occupants.
  • Update all filing records.
  • Facilitate newly allotted faculty and officers.
  • Receive and hand over faculty/officers & check mails, letters and parcels.
  • Assign and supervise sanitary workers for their daily routine tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all electric devices.
  • Be a vigilant observer.
  • Regulate the lighting system as per policy.
  • Surveillance of CCTV Cameras.
  • Custodian of sweeping, sanitary material, stationary items and First aid box.
  • Monitor and follow up on the execution of maintenance work.
  • Accompany critical medical cases to NUST medical center.
  • Basic computer literacy (Ms Word, In page Urdu typing, Data Entry Excel Sheet).
  • Ensure optimal utilization of available resources.
  • Perform any duty assigned by Supervisor Mess, AD Messing & DD Messing.

Training/Certification:
  • Computer Literate (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint / certified)
Terms & Conditions:
  • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).
  • Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

  • Weak academic profile / 3rd division in terminal degree (last degree).
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and/or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
  • In process of pursuing a required degree.
  • Medically unfit.
  • Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
  • Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department/organizations. Late/incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered/called for test/interview and no TA/DA will be admissible.
