Job DescriptionAs a Client Communication Specialist at our software house, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and success. Your responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our software solutions and services. Your main focus will be on lead generation, securing new clients, and expanding our customer base. This is a full-time onsite position.
- New Business Acquisition:
- Identify potential clients and market segments; actively prospect for new opportunities via platforms like LinkedIn, AngelList, Apollo, Crunchbase, Upwork, and others where projects worth $10k-$25k+ can be found.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through qualifying leads, delivering sales presentations, and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international clients, understanding their needs and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to client challenges.
- Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and seek feedback.
- Proposal Development and Negotiation:
- Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals, demonstrations, and product pitches.
- Create clear and structured documentation such as SRS, BRD, BPR, and user manuals, accurately communicating project specifications and business processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions meeting client needs.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and other commercial aspects to close profitable deals.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software sales or business development, preferably within a software house or tech environment.
- Experience with the US international market.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of software solutions, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking tools.
