Main Responsibilities-
  • HSE and Regulatory Compliance- Ensuring compliance and adherence to HSE Management System, safety protocols, and managing audits aligns with industry safety standards and regulatory requirements as applicable to oil and gas well operations.
  • Well Operations (Rig-less & Rig-Based)- Extensive experience in wells intervention, testing, completion, stimulation, and surveillance operations. Develop and ensure implementation of annual integrated work program and SOPs for rig-less well intervention operations and rig-based well testing (DST, TCP, MDT, etc.) operations. Oversee & guide team during planning & execution of entire well operations scope, well diagnostic/ remedial jobs and assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Well Integrity & Maintenance- Well Integrity Management System (WIMS) implementation. Planning and execution of well integrity operations ensures asset reliability and efficient wellhead surface facilities. Oversee & guide team in effective planning of upcoming wells from integrity viewpoint and review integrity logs/ status.
  • Production Optimization- Support team members in evaluation, planning & execution of production enhancement projects to improve production efficiency from the existing well stock. Contribute in evaluation & implementation of new technologies in the areas of Production Technology, Production Optimization, Well Testing, Well Completion, Artificial Lift, Hydraulic Frac, Stimulations and improving wells operational efficiency.
  • Production Assurance- Sustaining well production, tracking unplanned downtimes, and implementing corrective measures, highlight problem-solving and continuous improvement process.
  • Contracts Administration- Manage departmental inventory, assets & contribute in securing of services to ensure business continuity.

Qualification-
  • B.Sc. Petroleum Engineering
  • Following is preferred for this position-
  • IWCF Well Control Certified Level-4 or equivalent.
  • Project Management / Leadership Skills Training

Professional competencies-
  • Comprehensive experience of rig & rig-less well operations, petroleum engineering & well integrity management.
  • Sound knowledge of Drilling, Reservoir, Production operations and wellhead surface facilities, pipeline networks, best practices for production technology, workovers and artificial lift.
  • Profound expertise in preparation & managing work plans, operations management & supervision. Skillful in long term business planning, budgeting & cost control
  • In-depth experience of procurement activities for hiring of services and material purchase for testing, completion and well operations

Skills-
  • Strong leadership & team management skills for efficient & smooth operations. Contractor management, managing field-staff, inventory and service providers.
  • High awareness and knowledge of safe working practices and critical safety systems. Operational expertise and efficient resource allocation.
  • Analytical ability to understand complex problems & develop solutions. Analysis & comparison of new technologies. Sound understanding of relevant computer soft-wares and operating systems including Petroleum / Well Engineering software
  • Ability to work independently, under own initiative as well as to lead a team, good decision-making ability and can work under pressure condition.

Experience-
  • At-least 15 Years of relevant experience in oil & gas industry.
