Java Team Leader

We are an HR Firm looking for a Java Team Leader for one of our clients related to the software industry. The job description of the required candidate is as follows:

  1. Designing the assigned system functionality by adhering to development process and quality standards;
  2. Assisting team members in their daily work, including cutting code;
  3. Monitoring/Reporting on the progress of team members;
  4. Agreeing with team members on testing that includes Junit and manual testing performed by the developers at unit level;
  5. Execution/Overseeing end to end system testing and deployment;
  6. Validating the developers' deliverables that adhere to the company quality metrics;
  7. Reporting progress and issues to the Project Manager;
  8. Effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;
  9. Liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis;
  10. Estimating the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals;
  11. Functional Point analysis for the estimation of a project;
  12. Determining and assessing the need for additional staff and/or consultants;
  13. Delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel;
  14. Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts within the project team;
  15. Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path;
  16. Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools;
  17. Tracking project milestones and deliverables;
  18. Developing and delivering progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations;
  19. Determining the frequency and content of status reports from the team, analyzing results, and troubleshooting problem areas;
  20. Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans;
  21. Coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising project team members and contractors.
