We are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to join our team for a cutting-edge drone trajectory design project. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing advanced robotic systems, with a focus on drone navigation, trajectory planning, and real-time perception. This role involves working with state-of-the-art technology to develop autonomous systems that can map and navigate complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement drone trajectory systems using real-time perception and localization.
  • Develop and integrate Visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithms to enable drone navigation in dynamic environments.
  • Utilize OpenCV for image processing and computer vision tasks to enhance drone perception and object detection.
  • Work with Point Cloud Library (PCL) to process 3D point cloud data for accurate mapping and obstacle avoidance.
  • Implement YOLO (You Only Look Once) for real-time object detection to support drone autonomy.
  • Integrate drone systems with Robot Operating System (ROS) for communication and control across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, hardware teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of drone navigation systems.
  • Conduct simulations and real-world testing of trajectory systems to validate performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing algorithms for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Visual SLAM, OpenCV, PCL, YOLO, and ROS.
  • Strong background in computer vision, sensor fusion, and real-time processing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
  • Experience in working with drones or autonomous systems in real-world scenarios.
  • Familiarity with 3D mapping, trajectory planning, and obstacle avoidance algorithms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts to a diverse audience
