Applications Are Invited For The Following Teaching Positions At GC University, Faisalabad From Pakistani Nationals. The Candidates Must Meet The Qualifications / Experience As Detailed Below:

Professor (BPS 21) / TTS (Pakistan Studies - 01 Post)

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Professor BPS-21

• Age Limit: 35-55 Year
• Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field.
• Experience: 15-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• OR 10-years post-Ph.D. teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Minimum Number of Publications: The applicant must have 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Professor TTS

• Consolidated Pay / month: Rs. 234,000/- – Rs. 11,440/- – Rs. 405,600/-
• Age Limit: 35-55 Year
• Qualification & Experience: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field with either 11-years post-Ph.D./Relevant terminal degree or minimum of 7-years of post-PhD experience with at least 12 years of experience prior to the PhD.
• Publications: 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in internationally abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission.

Associate Professor (BPS 20) / TTS (Islamic Studies - 01 Post)

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Associate Professor BPS-20

• Age Limit: 35-50 Year
• Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution
• Experience: 10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• OR 5-years post-Ph.D. teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
• Minimum Number of Publications: The applicant must have 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Associate Professor TTS

• Consolidated Pay / month: Rs. 156,000/- – Rs. 292,500/-
• Age Limit: 35-50 Years
• Qualification & Experience: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field with either 6-years post-Ph.D./Relevant terminal degree or minimum of 4-years of post-PhD experience with at least 6 years of experience prior to the PhD.
• Publications: 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the past 5 years) in Internationally Abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission.

Assistant Professor (TTS) (Information Technology - 01 Post, Pharmaceutics - 01 Post)

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Assistant Professor (TTS)

• Consolidated Pay / month: Rs. 104,000/-– 211,250/-
• Age Limit: 30-45 Year
• Qualification: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution and excellent written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.

Assistant Professor BPS-19 / TTS (Textile Design - 01 Post)

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Assistant Professor BPS-19

• Age Limit: 30-45 Year
• Minimum Qualification:
  • PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution
  • Master's degree (foreign) or MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution
  • First professional degree (4 Years minimum, First Division) with no 3rd division in the academic career from HEC recognized University/Institution
• Experience:
  • 4-years teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post- graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
  • 6-years teaching /research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post- graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Assistant Professor (Textile Design) TTS

• Consolidated Pay / month: Rs. 104,000/-– 211,250/-
• Age Limit: 30-45 Year
• Qualification: Ph.D./Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution and excellent written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.

Lecturer (BPS-18) (Information Technology - 03 Posts)

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Qualification: First Class Master's Degree under Annual System and CGPA 3.00/4.00 under Semester System OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution.
• Condition of no 3rd division: shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer to the candidate holding a higher degree viz. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
• Furthermore, the candidate with 2nd Division in the Master's Degree but holding higher degree i.e. M. Phil/ PhD or equivalent degree with 18 years of education could be considered.

No Experience Required: NilInstructions

• The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the website of the University (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk/) and shall be submitted with demand draft as per following in favour of Treasurer, GC University, Faisalabad. However, the applicants desiring to have form through post may obtain the same on written request along with self addressed envelop of large size with Rs. 30/- postage stamps. The dully filled in application forms must be supported with attested copies of educational testimonials / certificates, I.D. Card, two recent photographs and updated Curriculum Vitae.
