Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality PHP web applications, modules, and plugins.
  • Collaborate with the design and development teams to translate project requirements into functional, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following industry-standard best practices.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and mentor junior developers when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest PHP trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve development processes.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for future growth.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and web services into web applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of databases, including writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of web applications on hosting environments.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation discussions, providing technical insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4-5 year's experience as a PHP developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Experience and knowledge of Flutter is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks Angular.
  • Proficiency in PHP and its associated frameworks and libraries (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Experience with web security best practices is a plus.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies is a plus.
