Role Description

We are seeking a skilled SQA Automation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks and test cases for various applications.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand system architecture and application behavior.
  • Review and improve existing test automation processes and tools.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing as needed to complement automated testing efforts.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide input on product requirements and testing strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS).

Note: This is an on-site job and you will be working from our Multan office.
