Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a university-wide research and innovation strategy aligned with national priorities.
  • Identify key research areas and facilitate internal and external research funding.
  • Strengthening academia-industry linkages and support research commercialization.
  • Manage intellectual property (IP), licensing and promote startup culture.
  • Organize research training and foster an innovative ecosystem (incubators, hubs).
  • Oversee monitoring, evaluation and reporting of research activities.

Job Requirements:

  • 15 plus years' experience in research, commercialization or academic leadership.
  • Proven leadership in research projects.
  • Strong links with academia, industry and government.
  • Successful entrepreneurial track record.

Job Skills:

  • Strategic thinking, excellent communication and team building skills.
  • Experience with IP management, grants and innovation programs.
  • Knowledge of HEC policies and national Research and Development landscape.

Job Education:

  • Ph.D./ M.Phil. in sciences (preferably Ph.D.) with High Impact Factor.
