Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join their growing FP&A team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong analytical skills, experience in Excel and Power BI, and the ability to translate raw data into actionable insights. If you are passionate about optimizing reporting processes and supporting strategic decision-making, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial, operational, and business data to extract key trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver impactful insights.
  • Design, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
  • Build visualizations and interactive dashboards to communicate complex data clearly.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
  • Continuously enhance data collection and reporting systems for greater efficiency.
  • Support ongoing performance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
  • Assist FP&A with ad hoc analysis and reporting tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data analytics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VBA, macros).
  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI (DAX, data modeling, report building).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-focused mindset.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills to deliver insights to diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL and other data tools is a plus.

  • Experience in a startup or rapidly growing company.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently.
