Research Associate: Department of Chemistry

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following position in the Department of Chemistry under National Research Program for Universities-Higher Education Commission (HEC) project No. 5612/Punjab/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2016, titled "Bisphenol A–associated type 2 diabetes mellitus: Pathogenesis and prospects for treatment" under following terms and conditions.
Post name: Research Associate (1)
Monthly Stipend: PKR. 25,000/- per month
Contract duration: 01 year (Extendable to 03 Years)
Qualification/Eligibility:PhD Student (fresh admission in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or Pharmacology will be preferred)
Experience: The candidate should have an experience of running Microplate ELISA reader, collection of blood samples from the study participants, evaluation of various biochemical biomarkers, tissue analysis and interpretation of demographical data.Candidate having project relevant background will be preferred.
Project information: The project duration is 36 months. The above position is purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a surety bond for entire duration of the project. The selected candidate could use the partial project data for his/her PhD thesis to fulfill the requirement of the PhD degree with the consent of PI (which will act as his/her supervisor). Intellectual property rights will remain intact with the Principle Investigator; and the student (research Associate) will not claim what so ever in this regard.
