Pastry Chef - Lahore, Pakistan

We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and designing delicious pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for our establishment. Your main duties will include preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and icings according to recipes and customer requests. You will also be responsible for decorating pastries and ensuring high-quality presentation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Pastry Chef, strong attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills. A passion for baking and creativity are also essential for this role. Salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to established recipes and customer requests
- Prepare doughs, fillings, icings, and other ingredients
- Bake items in ovens or other equipment
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as glazing or piping
- Ensure high-quality presentation of all baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Order necessary supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Train new pastry staff as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for baking
- Attention to detail with high standards for presentation
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (Urdu is an asset)
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Education/Experience:
A degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required. Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef or Baker is essential.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy equipment and ingredients, and performing repetitive tasks.
