Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following studentship position(s) in the Department of Botany under Higher Education Commission Project No. Project Ref # 20-16423/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2021-2020 entitled "Developing mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) genetic transformation system for herbicide tolerance targeting CP4-EPSPS gene". The candidates must meet the qualifications/experience as detailed below.

Post Details:

  1. MS/MPhil Studentship

    • Number of Positions: 01
    • Monthly Stipend: Rs. 16,000/-
    • Contract Duration: 10 Months
    • Qualifications: Enrolled MS/MPhil Scholar in the Discipline of Botany. Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.

  2. PhD Studentship

    • Number of Positions: 01
    • Monthly Stipend: Rs. 32,000/-
    • Contract Duration: 11 months (Extendable for further two years, depending on performance and funding)
    • Qualifications: Enrolled PhD Scholar in the Discipline of Botany. Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.

A one-page application, along with a short CV and attested copies of testimonials, must reach the office of the Principal Investigator in the Department of Botany at Government College University, Faisalabad, New Campus Jhang Road Faisalabad, no later than 29-09-2023 (Till 04:00 pm).
