Finance Officer

Position Overview
We are looking for aFinance Officerto support day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate must have a strong foundation in financial management and working knowledge of project-based accounting, preferably within engineering or project-driven industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Monitor project-wise cost allocations, revenue recognition, and cash flows
- Coordinate with internal departments for timely invoicing and collections
- Prepare documentation for audits, bank dealings, and compliance matters
- Ensure accurate data entry in ERP and maintain financial records
- Support vendor payments, tax calculations, and withholding tax filings
- Assist in the preparation of MIS reports and dashboards for management
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities when needed
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in an engineering or project-based organization
- Strong understanding of financial processes, taxation, and compliance (FBR, SRB)
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
