Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist with over 5 years of experience in technical roles within large organizations. The role involves providing application production support within the ITIL framework and ensuring seamless operations for wealth management applications. A background in banking or financial services is preferred, with expertise across asset classes, portfolio management, and trade lifecycle processes.

Must-Have Skillsets (Mandatory):

  1. 5+ years of experience in application production support in large organizations.
  2. Expertise in:
    1. Troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of applications.
    2. Application performance tuning and optimization.
    3. Resolving tickets with quality and within SLA timelines.
    4. Proactive monitoring and incident analysis.
    5. Workflow maintenance and configuration.
  3. Strong knowledge of asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, ETFs, and Structured Products.
  4. Familiarity with portfolio management and trade lifecycle processes in wealth management.
  5. Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MSSQL, and .NET application frameworks.
  6. Hands-on experience with Unix commands.
  7. Experience in handling interface-related issues and working with middleware systems like TIBCO/Open API/Microservices.

Good-to-Have Skillsets (Optional):

  1. Understanding of:
    1. Limit monitoring, LTV concepts, Haircuts, Margin Calls, and Liquidation.
    2. Collateral Management processes such as Pledge/UnPledge.
    3. Basic market data knowledge.
    4. Open source applications and components.
    5. Application licensing management.
  2. Knowledge of:
    1. Advent/SAXO/FINIQ platforms.
    2. Databases like MongoDB, Hive, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. 5+ years of relevant technical experience in large organizations.
  2. Banking or financial services background – preferred.
  3. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and application production support best practices.
