Senior Registrar

Job Summary:

Seeking a candidate with less than 1 year of post-fellowship experience in emergency medicine. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical knowledge in emergency medicine, excellent communication and soft skills. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS is an added advantage.

1. Lead a quality team of medical and nursing staff.
2. Ensure the delivery of quality care services in the A&E department.
3. Supervise and guide medical officers and senior medical officers on clinical issues related to patient care.
4. Make timely decisions during crises and resolve issues efficiently.
5. Communicate effectively with the A&E team regarding management issues, especially during night shifts.
6. Report urgent clinical issues to the A&E clinical head.
7. Coordinate with medical and non-medical staff within the department and other stakeholders.
8. Implement administrative and clinical policies and SOPs.
9. Provide medical support to team members for quick patient management.
10. Ensure proper documentation of patient information in HIMS.
11. Handle patient handover properly at the end of each shift.
12. Maintain a professional and respectful doctor-patient relationship at all times.
13. Adhere to the dress code as per human resources guidelines.
