About the job: Financial Reporting Analyst (Remote)

About Client Company: Hiring for a UAE-based leading media and entertainment firm.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
  2. Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports to management.
  3. Ensure all reports are accurate, consistent, and submitted on time.
  4. Gather financial and operational data from all Business Units (BUs).
  5. Consolidate data from multiple BUs for management review.
  6. Take ownership of the reporting pack, including preparation, analysis, and presentation.
  7. Maintain schedules and supporting documentation for P&L items.
  8. Analyze finance functions to identify trends and variances.
  9. Address finance concerns raised by regional teams with solutions.
  10. Highlight financial issues or anomalies to management timely.
  11. Identify and communicate key financial and operational risks.
  1. Budgeting & Forecasting
  2. Conduct weekly financial projections with regional teams and managers.
  3. Review project budgets, grants, and contracts for financial alignment.
  4. Monitor and enforce budget controls across regions.
  5. Evaluate Business Development plans before submission.
  1. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
  2. Assist with cash flow management through analysis and recommendations.
  3. Maintain updated records of cash flow and working capital needs.
  4. Track cash activities in real-time, identifying issues.
  5. Escalate concerns and propose solutions.
  1. Ad Hoc Responsibilities
  2. Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.
  3. Maintain flexibility for evolving business needs.
  4. Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  5. Proficient in valuation methods like DCF and financial modeling.
  6. Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio for reporting and analysis.
  7. Generate projections and forecasts collaboratively.
  8. Utilize AI insights and statistical analysis for reporting.
  9. Understand core business functions and integrate technology.
  10. Communicate effectively across organizational levels in English.
