Southport Logistics (Pvt) Ltd. is a rapidly expanding logistics company seeking a meticulous and dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Karachi. This is a great opportunity for accounting professionals who are passionate about maintaining financial accuracy, supporting key financial operations, and contributing to the strategic goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute double-entry bookkeeping with accuracy and consistency across all financial transactions.

Maintain up-to-date ledgers and ensure timely bank and account reconciliations.

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Statements.

Support other finance and accounting operations as required by management.

Requirements:

A solid understanding of core accounting principles.

Hands-on experience with bookkeeping and ledger systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software will be considered an added advantage.

Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and ability to meet deadlines.
